Color Dance

July 2023 - Breckenridge, CO - During a dusk hike looking for the Red Fox, I couldn’t help but hear the whizzing and humming above my head, only to witness the aerial dance of color. The Ruby Throated Hummingbirds rise and fall in a U shape, defending their territory.

This little guy was nice enough to display his bright colors before zipping off to his next pitstop.
